Notes:
- According to Pritchard & Baker (1952), new combination????; previously known as Tenuipalpus taxi Haller. According to Pritchard & Baker (1958), although there is no type and the original figure is inadequate, the occurrence of the same species, restricted to English Yew (T. baccata), in both California and Switzerland, leads to the synonymy of morishitai with taxi. Bowman & Southgate (1980) reported this species on yews in England.;
